Tasty Tuesday - Potato Bar Chili

I just snagged this recipe from one of the Taste of Home digital editions.

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15.5 oz.) chili beans, undrained
2 TBS. sugar
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Baked potatoes

  1. In a Dutch oven, cook the beef, onions, & pepper over a medium heat, until beef is no longer pink, drain.
  2. Add the tomatoes, beans, sugar & seasonings.
  3. Bring to a boil
  4. Reduce heat & simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve over potatoes.
