We love this meal since I can throw it in the crockpot in the morning & we can come home from church to a meal ready to eat!
Ingredients -
1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
your favorite spag. sauce
8 oz. pkg. uncooked, oven ready lasagna noodles
4 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 C. cottage cheese
- Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray
- Brown your ground beef
- Stir your favorite spag. sauce into ground beef
- Spread 1/4 of meat sauce in bottom of crockpot
- Place 1/3 noodles over the sauce
- sprinkle mozz. cheese to cover noodles, spread 1/3 of cottage cheese over mozz., sprinkle another layer of mozz. cheese over cottage cheese.
- Repeat above steps 2 times.
- Place remaining sauce over the top.
- Cover & cook on low 4 hours.
Jay has told me that this is very good, so I'll be trying it soon. Also will be trying the Crescent Chicken.
ReplyDeleteOk, I made this tonight and it was really good - even with my not spaghetti sauce. Apparently you and I have a different size crock-pot cuz the measurements weren't quite working for me, so I had to create my own sauce as I was out (which was a total shock since I always have about 3 jars). However, now that I know I'll adjust it accordingly! If it was that good tonight I can't wait to try it again.
