3 TBS. flour
3 TBS. butter
1 1/2 C. Milk
1 1/2 C. Heavy Cream
Garlic - the amount is your preference
8 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
16 oz. pasta noodles
3 C. cooked chicken
- In a sauce pan melt butter, add the flour.
- Mix the milk & heavy cream together, microwave for 1-2 minutes (to warm it)
- Add the warmed milk & cream mixture to sauce pan.
- Add desired amount of garlic.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring often until sauce begins to boil.
- Continue stirring for another 4-5 minutes, until sauce thickens a bit.
- Remove from heat, add the parmesan cheese.
- Serve over noodles with chicken.
Sounds delicious but...alas....heavy cream is not on the diet. Shoot!
