Tasty Tuesday

I don't have a name for this recipe, it is just FABULOUS! One word of caution...on more than one occasion, a few friends & I have finished off this dessert in one sitting, it is just that good!

Ingredients -

2 - 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 - pkg. crescent rolls
1 egg, divided
1 C. Sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
additional 2 TBS. sugar
1 TBS. cinnamon

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spread 1 package crescent rolls flat in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  3. Mix cream cheese, the egg yolk, 1 C. sugar and vanilla.
  4. Spread over bottom crust.
  5. Layer the other package crescent rolls over that.
  6. Beat egg white and spread over crescent rolls
  7. Mix together remaining sugar & cinnamon, sprinkle over top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown.
  9. Serve either warm or cooled, your preference.

  1. I love this dessert! It is Jason's favorite.....his mom calls it cream cheese finger torte....though it is really not a torte! This recipe is in a cook book I got as a wedding present and it's just called cream cheese squares!
